Demystifying the Québec Market

Looking to do business in Québec? This seminar will discuss the nuances between the Québec and Canadian markets in order to enable Manitoba entrepreneurs to access it more successfully. Using a historical perspective, participants will discover the provenance of certain cultural traits and how they currently manifest themselves in consumer behaviour. Participants will also receive some guidance on how to enter the province and fully leverage its existing opportunities.

NOTE: Please feel free to bring a snack or brown bag lunch to make the most of this session.

Attendee will learn the following:

1. How big is the business opportunity in Québec?
2. What are the nuances in this market and why do they exist?
3. What steps can Manitoba entrepreneurs take to enter the market successfully?

Éric Courcelles is the Director of Strategy for the WTC Winnipeg. He has experience working for the Niger Chamber of Commerce (CCAIAN) as part of Canada’s International Youth Internship Program. He also held the position of Research Assistant for the Department of International Business at HEC Montreal.
