Disruption of Ground and Air Parcels

Join us to discuss the disruptions, changes and precautions in the parcel network during COVID-19. As well as an overview of the 5-10 major regional, national, and international parcel carriers for both ground and air. Each carrier provides different service levels ranging from guaranteed expedited to ground service and of which the timelines and prices differ greatly. Carriers being covered include but are not limited to Canpar, DHL, Fed Ex, UPS, Purolator, Canada Post, USPS, Loomis, and a few regional and city wide carriers. We will also touch on the difference between direct carriers and 3PL re-sellers.

Attendee will learn the following:
1. Service levels and pricing for air and ground parcels
2. Your options when choosing a carrier
3. The difference between direct to carrier and 3PL platforms

Steve Setka and Tom Setka are the owners of InXpress Winnipeg, a local business that specializes in helping Manitoba companies reduce their international courier and small parcel costs by setting up programs that specifically meet their clients’ needs. Tom is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 30 years of experience helping companies grow by identifying and implementing innovative solutions. Steve is a St. Paul’s High School and University of Manitoba graduate with several years of experience overseas.
