Given the current physical distancing rules in places in response to the coronavirus, many corporations are feeling the pressure to consider alternatives to traditional in-person annual general meetings. As deadlines to hold and AGM loom large many corporations, both for profit and not-for-profit are examining if they are legally entitled to hold a virtual AGM and exploring options and technologies to meet alternatively.
