Social Media Boot Camp for Indigenous Entrepreneurs: Fundamentals

World Trade Centre Winnipeg | Business InfoCentre (BIC) and the Aboriginal Business Services Network (ABSN) are proud to present a new three part series. All entrepreneurs are invited to attend.

This first seminar of this series is an opportunity to focus on developing skills and understanding Social Media Marketing (SMM).

Attendee will learn the following:

1. Fundamentals of personal vs business use of social media, and industry trends
2.  Four stage cycle for Social Media Marketing (SMM) development
3. SMM strategy development templates

Jacquelyn Cardinal is Sakāwithiniwak from the Sucker Creek Cree First Nation and the Co-Founder and Director of Experience at Naheyawin Creative Inc., an Edmonton-based digital marketing agency specializing in brand development and marketing strategies that aim to engage Indigenous communities. In addition to her successes as a digital strategist and marketer, Jacquelyn is the creator of Tatawaw, a community development initiative that endeavours to engage the business, non-profit, and government sectors in re-designing public spaces in the spirit of “wicihitowin”.
