Unique Power Breakfast with Latin America

Market update and one-on-one meetings with EDC regional managers stationed in Brazil, Mexico and Peru/Colombia

WINNIPEG – September 30, 2016 – In partnership with Export Development Canada (EDC) and Global Affairs Canada, the World Trade Centre Winnipeg (WTC Winnipeg) held a power breakfast this morning presenting market updates from EDC’s regional managers stationed in Brazil, Mexico and Peru/Colombia. The breakfast was followed by one-on one meetings with EDC and WTC Winnipeg representatives, providing participants with a unique opportunity to meet experts from various markets under one roof.

“Building on the momentum created at Centrallia 2016 with our breakout session on the Americas, WTC Winnipeg is pleased to continue opening the door to this important economic region,” explains Alberto Velasco, Trade Development Manager at WTC Winnipeg. “This important partnership with EDC allowed us to create a unique offering for our clients with one-on-one introductions and consultations with regional managers directly from the areas of interest.”

Ray Hildebrand, Vice President, Risk & Business Operations for HyLife adds: “This morning’s event was a great opportunity for HyLife to continue its initiatives in Latin America. This past August, we worked with WTC Winnipeg to host a group from Salvatierra, Mexico in support of our growing plans in that market. Today’s presentations and one-on-one meetings confirms that our efforts are being focused in the right region.”
