Program Manager

We are seeking a professional and dynamic individual to fill the position of Program Manager.

As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning and leading the organization’s projects and programs by leveraging your strong communication, problem-solving skills, and program management expertise. The Program Manager is Responsible For:

  • Leading end-to-end planning of programming, ensuring WTC Winnipeg’s success and budget adherence.
  • Researching, validating, and scheduling program content, partnering for successful programming.
  • Contributing actively to program promotion, marketing strategies, and service excellence.
  • Implementing content enhancements through structured consultation with WTC team.
  • Drafting project proposals, obtaining management feedback and approval.
  • Leading all project-related meetings, coordinating WTC efforts effectively.
  • Liaising with coworkers, vendors, and providers to align project logistics.
  • Developing and nurturing supplier connections while optimizing agreements.
  • Managing program records, representing WTC at events, and assisting Finance Department for smooth operations.
  • Ensuring the execution of project deliverables within set deadlines.
  • Determining, negotiating and leveraging sponsorship opportunities to ensure appropriate funding for events and programs with Strategic Partnership Manager.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisors.

You and Your Experience:

  • Certificate or diploma in Project Management, Commerce, Marketing, or related.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Able to present information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and logistical skills to ensure high-quality results.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in both of Canada’s official languages is preferred, additional language is nice to have.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances in a multi-tasking work environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Sharepoint and Teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is considered an asset.
