Day 3 – Export Plan Focus

On day 3 of TAP, attendees were busy writing their export plans.

Then, Matilda van Aggelen, WTCW’s Market Research Specialist gave a presentation on the importance of market research for exporters and made herself available to support companies during the whole day.

In the afternoon, the program’s ten expert partners came by to present their services and held an “Ask the Experts” session. (BDC, EDC, RBC, BDO, Naida, Supply Chain Canada, TDS, Global Affairs Canada, ISED Canada, Government of Manitoba)

The last hour was a group session in which attendees discussed their challenges and struggles when it comes to exporting, so that they could share potential solutions.

For TAP participants:
Get ready for the next and last session on Dec 2. These are the 1-on-1 mentoring sessions where you will meet with the 10 expert partners to receive feedback and validate your export plan! Make sure to hand in your final plan by Nov 18.

World Trade Centre Winnipeg is planning a new Business Planning Program (BPP) session.

This program is for all entrepreneurs looking to write a business plan.
The next session starts on February 7th, 2023.

The BPP consists of:

  • Seven half-day sessions
  • A business advisor assigned to help, guide & support you
  • Personalized support and access to industry experts
  • A detailed workbook tailored for this program.
